This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements our Terms of Service. By using Artmail ("Services"), you agree to this AUP.

1. Lawful email only

You must:

  • Send only to recipients who have given appropriate consent or have a lawful relationship with you;
  • Honor unsubscribe and suppression requests promptly;
  • Include accurate header information and, where required, a physical address or valid reply path;
  • Comply with CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, ePrivacy, and other applicable marketing and privacy laws.

2. Prohibited content and behavior

You must not use the Services to send or facilitate:

  • Spam, unsolicited bulk email, or purchased lists that lack valid permission;
  • Deceptive, fraudulent, or phishing messages;
  • Malware, exploits, or content designed to harm recipients or systems;
  • Harassment, hate speech, or illegal content;
  • Content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

3. Technical abuse

You must not:

  • Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without authorization;
  • Overload or disrupt our systems or third-party infrastructure (e.g., AWS SES);
  • Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or billing controls;
  • Use the Services to relay mail for unrelated third parties without a written agreement with us.

4. Deliverability and providers

Email delivery depends on ISPs and providers (e.g., AWS). You are responsible for list quality, authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC as applicable), and maintaining good sending reputation. We may throttle, block, or terminate sending that harms deliverability or violates provider policies.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement. We may report illegal activity to appropriate authorities.

6. Reporting abuse

To report abuse originating from our platform, contact us via Contact with relevant headers and details.

7. Changes

We may update this AUP. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
